Fresh Sauced Peaches

  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 3/4 cup sweet white wine
  • 6 peaches, peeled and sliced

Combine water, sugar and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat; add wine. Pour marinade over peaches in a glass bowl. Cover and chill several hours before serving.

Yield: 6 servings.

 

Yield: 2 and 1/3 cups.
