Computer Parts

Let’s take a quick look at the parts of a computer. Right this moment you are looking at a TV – it is primarily an output device. This means that information is coming to you from a box that has processed the data or information in some way.

It also has an input section – ON and OFF – volume, and the remote that, many times, ends up under the cushion on the couch are types of input controls. Computers work the same way…so let’s take a look at the parts of a computer. They have an input section – for giving the computer information. And the output – for delivering the information in a way that can be easily read.

The processing section – to actually do the work that goes on between the Input and Output sections. And the storage section – to save the work that you have done.

The least expensive calculator that you can purchase also has the same four parts.
